2020 Taskar Center Holiday Toy Hack Volunteer Sign Up
This is the enrollment form for VOLUNTEERS at the 2020 Adapted Toy Holiday Drive, hosted by the Taskar Center for Accessible Technology and PNW Adapted Toy Library. This year, all volunteers will be asked to do the adaptation process at their own location. We have some solder kits we may be able to lend out, but on the whole, we are asking volunteers to have access to their own materials and equipment. We know this is a big ASK, and we are very thankful for everyone who is able to commit the time and resources to do this.

The synchronous workshops will take place on Dec 5 and 12 between 8:30am-1pm Pacific Standard Time.

Please answer the following questions to complete your registration.

Would you prefer to do all the adaptation on your own time (i.e., we just send you instructions and ask that you be done by a certain due date, and then we check in when you're done) or in a group over several zoom sessions (i.e., we will have 2-part in person, synchronous toy adaptation virtual event)? *
Are you adapting for yourself or for a specific toy recipient? If so, please let us know under what name you/they signed up as a toy recipient.
How many toys do you think you can commit to adapt by December 15th? (3-6 hours per toy depending on complexity) *
If you have already been paired with a toy recipient (or are planning to modify a toy for a recipient you know), please specify the recipient's name. (Please make sure the recipient fills out a toy request)
