After these 5 days of training, your staff will be certified as ‘Red Cross Society Volunteers’ and able to provide First Aid. The Red Cross also supports creating safety guidelines for activities like hiking and trekking Mountain biking, fires and burns, CPR and cuts or wound dressing.
The training is theoretical as well as practical. Full attendance and participation in all training modules are required to apply for certification. This training is targeting staff of SUPERVISORY ROLES in your organisation.
Exclusions
In addition, the selected candidates will be required to transport themselves to and from the venue and also accommodate themselves during the training. This training is on purely voluntary bases. Trainees are not receiving any kind of remuneration, facilitation or allowance.
Requirements
If you apply for this training, we expect that you will be able to fully commit yourself to the entire training program. This means that participants will be expected to attend every day of the training. There are limited slots available. The ideal candidate:
- Is highly motivated to become a Red Cross Society Volunteer.
- Is a young person below 35 but above 18 years old. Female candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Has the ability to speak, read and write English even if they didn't get any certificates from school.
- Commits to all elements of the program (compulsory!)
