Trip Description: In July 2022, we hosted our first Kindred Exchange trip and traveled to Jinja, Uganda to kick off a year-long business cohort with 11 brilliant entrepreneurs. As the cohort is wrapping up, we will travel back to Jinja to celebrate the progress the group has made on their individual businesses throughout this past year. This trip will be very laid-back and relational as we spend our time getting to know the entrepreneurs and visiting their businesses as well as shopping artisan-made goods in town and sight-seeing at the beautiful Nile River. We will also host business workshops in the evenings for the entrepreneurs to have face to face lessons to cover any final topics as we close out the cohort (business experience or knowledge is not required to be part of this trip). Domestic Travel Notice
We will book international travel to Uganda for the group. This means we will fly out of a major city (like New York). The cost of the trip does NOT include travel to our departing city. You will be responsible for getting yourself to that departing city.

Cancellation Policy
All trip deposits and payments are non-refundable.

If Kindred Exchange has to cancel a trip, all trip deposits and payments, as well as any funds raised or donated on your behalf, will be transferred to another KE trip.

If you cancel your participation on a KE trip, you will lose your deposit and any funds raised/donated on your behalf for your trip. Additionally, you may be responsible for cancellation fees imposed by the airlines.

I hear by consent to the participation in interviews and photography, both still and motion (videos) while traveling with Kindred Exchange, hereby referred to as KE. I also grant to KE the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use my personal quotes/comments, as well as the right to publish photographs or movies taken of me, and the use of my name and/or likeness. I also grant to KE the right to edit, use, and reuse said products for non-profit purposes including, but no limited to, use in print, on the internet, and all other forms of media. I further understand that my participation is voluntary and that I will not receive financial compensation of any type associated with the taking or publication of these images.
