Talk & Play – Project Showcase Form
Please fill this form if you'd like to showcase your project at Talk & Play #46 on Wednesday June 5 2024 from 18:30 to 22:00 at UE – University of Europe for Applied Sciences, Dessauer Str. 3-5, 10963 Berlin.

Since the number of available slots is limited, new projects from teams that didn’t have much public exposure yet and projects made by members of underrepresented groups in games will be prioritised.

Any type of game and game-related projects are welcome in our showcase: prototypes, student projects, games made during jams, almost-finished games, already released-games... it's all good!

We will send you an update via email to inform you if your project has been selected or not by Wednesday, May 22 at the latest.

Please note that we will provide tables, chairs, electricity and internet connection, but you must bring everything else needed to showcase your project: device (laptop, tablet, phone...), chargers, controllers and so on. We also recommend to bring a power strip (Steckdosenleiste in German) just in case and a pair of headphones the players can use, as the venue might noisy.

Important: all attendees including exhibitors will need to wear an FFP2 mask during the event.

What's the name of the project? *
Who's the author of the project? *
The team's name, your nickname or your real name... just let us know who you'd like to attribute the game to!
Is this a student project? If yes, at which school are you studying? *
Short description text about the project (one or two sentences maximum)
We just need a short text we can use to describe your project on social media or on stage at the event.
Describe your project using a single emoji *
Please provide the link to an image representing the project (e.g. screenshot) *
The image size should be 1920x1080, it makes things much easier for us if you send it in this format, otherwise we'll have to do some adjustments to it. One of the fastest and easiest options to share an image is imgur.com. We need a static image, only send animated gifs or videos as additional material.
Please provide a URL (just one) where people can find more details about the project or its author(s).
Ideally the project's site, or the press kit page, or a site where people can try/download/buy it. If not available, your own site or favourite social media account will also do.
Your social media links
We're mainly interested in Mastodon and Instagram... Twitter too while it still exists
What's the setup of your project? How do you plan to show it at Talk & Play? *
Knowing which device(s) you'll be using helps us assigning you the best spot. If you have any special requirements just select the last option and give us details.
If you're showing a game: is it meant to be played by more than one person? If so, how many players can play it at the same time? *
We need to know this because more players require more space
The project showcase will start as soon as the doors open at 18:30 and will continue until 22:00, when the event ends. The showcase will also continue while the talks are taking place from 19:30 to 20:30. If you've been to Talk & Play in the past this is a big change. It's an experiment and we want to see how it goes. Being able to showcase your project for a longer time means more people will get to experience it.

The downside: in order to set up your project before people enter the venue you will need to arrive at 18:00 at the latest. Is it feasible for you? If not please specify what's the earliest time you could be at the venue.

Please provide your email address where we can contact you *
