Thank you for your interest in becoming a Director of Carr-Bridge Ahead Ltd

To become a Director you should be a Full Member of the company. If you have not yet done so please complete the Individual Member application form available on the web page or email members@carrbridgeahead.com for a link.

We are keen to have a diverse and inclusive board of Directors to represent the village and to register Directors with Companies House we need more specific personal information than the individual membership for captures.

All Directors must be proposed and seconded by full members of Carr-Bridge Ahead Ltd.  You will be asked to provide their Names and we will invite them to confirm your nomination.

All directors once appointed are required by law, to maintain current information on our Register of Directors interests which will be sent to you once your application has been approved by the Board.

What's Involved ? ( the small print up front)
Directors will also be Trustees of the charity.
The information below gives some general guidance of what is involved; however, we would be delighted to discuss this with you in more detail if you think it is of interest.

Meetings: Approximately 3-6 formal board meetings throughout the year. These include the AGM and additional Board meetings as and when required. Meetings can be arranged to accommodate online presence if required.

Hours - meetings are generally 2 hrs and papers are sent out 7 days in advance so some time for preparation is required.

Salary:  Position is voluntary, but reasonable out of pocket expenses can be reimbursed if required.

Duration: 3 year term.

       Conservation and Environmental Issues
       Culture and Local history

       Voluntary sector, local government and statutory bodies
       Quality assurance, monitoring and evaluation
       Research and advocacy
       Education
       Business development
