As the parent/guardian, I have read the information regarding the foreign language courses, and I give permission to my child to apply for the class(es).  I further acknowledge that I have read and understand the commitment and requirements of the Spanish I and French I classes.  I understand that IF my child is selected for either of the courses, he/she will be enrolled for 2 years, with the opportunity of earning a Carnegie Unit towards high school credit at the end of his/her 8th grade year.
