Sign up to share your JET story at the JETAA Mid-South Mothra Story Hour - all JET Alumni are free to register. Stories should be a maximum of 5 minutes. We are seeking 6 story tellers, but will leave registration open to gauge level of interest for future events.

Theme: Touchdown in Tokyo: Your first week on the JET Program.
For many social media users, the end of July means lots of "on this day..." memories bubbling up from our first steps on the JET program - panic packing, Tokyo Orientation, arrival at our placements, and establishing ourselves on the other side of the planet.

Share a tale from your first week in Japan. That first moment of wonder, wandering Tokyo in a haze of jet lag, or that crashing wave of panic where you wondered what you'd gotten yourselves into. Make us laugh, make us cry, make us relive that magical moment when a new chapter of our lives began to unfold!
