Chess.com is one of the largest gaming sites on the internet - and we are growing fast! We are passionate chess players working hard to deliver new products, features, and updates to our 35+ million members.
We are looking for someone who can help manage the entire software cycle: planning, prioritizing, ticketing, reviewing, and managing the execution. You will work with the different software department leads to help prioritize and keep products moving through the pipeline. You will work with our QA and product teams to make sure all software is delivered on time, and high quality. You will help all of our teammates keep their personal ticket queues tidy.
Who you are:
- You have been doing software / project management for 3+ years at a consumer internet company
- You can work with others to prioritize and manage projects and products on their plate
- You are borderline OCD about keeping documentation, project flows, and ticket lists curated and organized
- You love the details. You love lists and charts. And you love getting things done.
What you will do:
- You will work with 5 team leads and 4 other QA/Project Managers to keep on top of projects, initiatives, bugs, errors, and user suggestions
- You will live inside of Jira
- You will work with the product, design and marketing teams on strategy and priorities
- You will coordinate and share the goals (OKRs) of each department in fully-transparent documentation
- You will enjoy working with some of the brightest, kindest, smartest, and most passionate people on the planet
