Lily Lake has long been the heart of residential Stillwater, Minnesota. People of all ages have fond memories of fun on this 41-acre lake and in its adjoining 11-acre park. Now, after 15 years of cooperative efforts focused on permanent water quality improvement, Lily Lake has nearly achieved its water quality goals.

Looking forward, the Friends of Lily Lake (formerly the Lily Lake Association) is hosting a community “visioning” process during 2021 that will guide how our community will enjoy and care for Lily Lake, in relation to its surrounding neighborhoods, in the future.

Please join us in caring for this Stillwater treasure by participating in Lily Lake Visioning surveys and gatherings on-line and in-person. Additional information and updates will be available on our website at https://lilylakemn.wixsite.com/lilylake.

You can start contributing to the community vision by answering the following questions:

1. What do you think are the best things (strengths/positives) about Lily Lake and its surrounding land and neighborhoods?

2. What do you like (or would like) to do at Lily Lake and its surroundings? Check as many as you like:

Foster more neighborhood “drain adoptions” to keep leaves from washing into the lake
