New Pickleball Spring 2022 Session!
Spring Pickleball Free Demo Night will be held on Wednesday, March 9 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. in the Barkhamsted Elementary School gym. Come down and check out what the fun is all about! Please wear sneakers and bring a Paddle if you have one. Players from the past sessions are encouraged to come and help the new players enjoy the sport that night and also get some play time on the courts before our Spring Session begins. Participants can also register that night for the Spring program. The demo night is FREE!
It is time to get off the couch and join us for the very fun and new Pickleball Spring Session. All levels and abilities are welcome. This fun sport combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. You will get great exercise and have a blast.
Day-Wednesdays (End of Winter and Spring Session) 2022 (New 8 week session including the free demo night!)
Spring-Free Pickleball/Into/Registration Night- March 9 (Free Night) and March 16 the first night of the program.
Spring PickleBall Program dates-March 16, 30, April 6, 13, 27, May 4, 11 (May 18th is the back up bad weather day) ( These are all Wednesday’s from 6-9:00 p.m. (If the Barkhamsted Elementary school is cancelled due to snow/bad weather there will be no program) We will try to add on a week if possible at the end of the session. (No program on March 23 or April 20)
Payment Registration Deadline-Wednesday, March 16 at the first night of Pickleball
Location-Barkhamsted Elementary School Gym
Time-6:00-9:00 p.m. (this program is for adults (high school students are also welcome)
Fee: $20.00 for residents, $25.00 for non-residents (no pro-rations) Pre-registration is required. Please bring your own paddle and wear sneakers. All participants must complete the registration form prior the first session. Please register by Tuesday, March 8-
We will be practicing social/physical distancing and participants are asked wear masks coverings when necessary and N95 and K95 masks are recommended.. Please also take your temperature before arriving and if you have a temperature over 100 or also experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or any close contacts or family members are, please do not attend the program.
