Spring 2021 Commencement Participation Form and RSVP (Graduates)
Please read these instructions in their entirety. You may modify your responses should the information changes, but please avoid making too many changes if possible to avoid confusion.

This form is designed for October graduates or prospective Spring graduates for the 2021 Commencement Exercises. Please complete this form even if we might not have a commencement or you are not planning on attending the commencement events so that we can catalog your responses.

Please return no later than March 1st!

The GTU Trustees Reception for Graduates is a time where Graduates will be celebrated with family and friends. Coordinators will also have the opportunity to speak about the Graduates' work.

The GTU Commencement Exercises is the graduation ceremony where students will be hooded by their coordinators and presented with their diploma. Family and friends are welcome to attend.

If a graduate's coordinator cannot attend the commencement and cannot find a faculty replacement, the Associate Dean of Students will hood the graduate during the Commencement Exercises.

If renting, fill out the following information in the space provided: Height (in feet and inches), Weight (in pounds), Cap Size (for best results, measure your head one inch above your ears and provide the measurement in inches. You can also come to the third floor of the Le Conte building and we'll be happy to measure your head!). (Rental Fee: $24 for Master and $26 for Doctoral).

If your Coordinator cannot attend Commencement or the Trustees Reception, have you asked someone else to substitute for your Coordinator? Name this person below. If you cannot find a substitute, the Associate Dean of Students can hood you during Commencement and may be able to speak on your behalf at the Trustees Reception. Please try to find a substitute and communicate with us if you cannot find a substitute.
