Wareham Gateman Bat Kid Interest Form
Thank you so much for your interest in having your child be a Bat Kid for the Wareham Gateman! There are 20 home games played at Spillane Field (Wareham High School) in Wareham, MA and 20 away games played in variety of towns including: Falmouth, Bourne, Cotuit, Hyannis, Harwich, Yarmouth-Dennis, Chatham and Brewster. We ask that when your child is signed up to be a Bat Kid that they are able to commit to the team and attend both home and away games. Bat Kids are vital part of the team!
This is a chance for your child to get an up-close experience on the field with the team and coaches and to be part of the team itself. All Bat Kids must be age 10 and over and each Bat Kid will be given a shirt by the organization. We ask each child to provide his/her own helmet as well as white baseball/softball pants.

Are you able to commit to the team for the whole summer? (Mid-June to early August) We understand families go on vacation/go out of town and we would not schedule your child during those times.  *
Is your child able to attend both home and away games during the summer?  *
Do you agree to that if your child is unable to attend a game you will try to contact other families on the "contact list" to try and switch a game?

(We completely understand emergencies happen but we never want to leave the team without Bat Kids for a game. If you are unable to attend a game, please contact Kim Nashold as soon as possible. Contact list will be given out at the first game on June 15th)

Please let us know any games that will be a conflict for you this summer so that we do not schedule your child during those games. Please click the following games you CAN NOT attend. We ask that Bat Kids be available for both home and away games. 
ALL BAT KIDS MUST ATTEND THE FIRST HOME GAME ON SATURDAY JUNE 15.

The league will provide each child with a shirt...we ask that each Bat Kid wears his/her own white baseball or softball pants and a baseball or softball helmet. If you need help acquiring pants or a helmet please let us know.
