The NAEAC (Native American Education Advisory Committee) is looking for positive leaders within our school community to help promote, guide, and educate the students and families that attend Devils Lake Public Schools.
Every year we have an election for new members of our advisory committee. The commitments are outlined below. If you are interested in serving on this committee, please continue reading and follow the steps provided to have your name submitted for consideration.
Requirements
*** Be a parent or guardian of a Native American child that attends Devils Lake Public School in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade
*** Meetings are held monthly on the second Tuesday at 5:00 pm during the school year (September through May). Locations of the meetings vary each month.
*** Only one parent or guardian per family may serve on the committee (brother, sister, mother, father, and/or children).
Deadline for having your name on the ballot is Friday, March 15, 2024. There will be a spot on the ballot for write-ins.
Election will be held the week of March 18th - 22nd, 2024 during Parent Teacher conferences.
