Group name, if applicable. If this RSVP is for a BCS class, group, or team, list the name and grade. 
K-5: Bring Chaperones. You must provide an adequate number of trusted adult chaperones to supervise your student or your group at all times. This includes keeping track of students, providing adequate refreshment, monitoring behavior expectations, and dealing with any emergencies that come up for your students. The PTA, BCS, and PPS cannot supervise individual students at this event--walk at your own risk.  *

Middle school individual: Can walk alone with permission. Welcome, middle school students! Individual middle schoolers may walk the parade with or without an adult. To walk without a chaperone, please obtain permission from a parent or guardian no later than 6/6. 

I understand: 
* I must bring a student ID to participate in the BCS Jr Rose Parade event and must obtain permission if walking unchaperoned.
* I will follow all directions from adult volunteers and will follow the behavior expectations and rules listed below. If any concerns with direction, I will seek guidance from PTA organizers Brenda Frink and Beth Silva or from any BCS staff at the event. 
* If behavior expectations or rules are not met, I will be asked to leave the event. I will do so immediately and will be responsible for getting myself home from that location.

BCS student behavior expectations (for everyone, especially our older kids) 

* All PPS school rules apply during the event (however phone use is allowed)
* No alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs allowed at any time
* Phone use is allowed at the event. Students must use phones responsibly and respect others' wishes with regard to any photos or videos captured at the event
* Students will be polite and considerate of adults and students at the event, including younger children 
* Language, behavior, and any signs must be appropriate for younger children at the event
* Students will conduct themselves in a way that represents BCS positively to the broader community

Jr Rose Parade Rules (from Rose Festival website) 

* The parade is open to children through middle school age and their chaperones
* All entries must be appropriate for an audience of small children and are subject to Committee approval.
* All entries must follow the instructions of parade officials
* All entries must keep up with the parade. No counter marching or stopping to perform routines -- they must be done while moving forward
* Nothing can be handed out or thrown from the parade due to safety concerns. Do not plan on passing out flyers, candy, etc. Such items may be confiscated by parade officials
* No advertising is permitted without Committee approval
* No entries allowed with religious, political, or social messaging
* No horses or motor driven vehicles (other than official cars) allowed
* All marchers must wear shoes
