Welcome. We've made it easy for student organizations to host and lead an intensive YWAM-style discipleship course on campus. To get started, be prepared to include your details as the student leader serving as the Course Host.
This course is sponsored and developed by Youth With A Mission (YWAM). But the DISCIPLE Course is NOT YWAM's Discipleship Training School. The DTS is not required. And you do not need to be a YWAM missionary to lead the course. However, if you wish to host and lead the DISCIPLE Course, you are required to have a personal reference from a current YWAM staff person. Be prepared to list their name, and let them know you are working with YWAM Student Centre to start a DISCIPLE Course on your college campus. Perhaps that YWAMer will want to help?
The DISCIPLE Course is easy to set up. The first step is to pray and share the vision. Ask a few others to join your team. Having a room and dates when you can meet is the next step. The Student Leaders Guide, which you will have access to, has helpful resources including a curriculum template and we will provide special assistance from launching the course to outreach planning. You can do this!
