Dear Parent/Guardian,

As a member of the Thomas Jefferson High School Center for Communication Technology (CCT) Magnet, your son/daughter will likely be participating in classes wherein his/her image (and other identifying material) may appear in any of the wide variety of media formats with which we work, including but not limited to: print, broadcast, videotape, CD-ROM, and electronic/online media.

The school newspaper, the Thomas Jefferson Journal, is published online, wherein the names, photographs, and email addresses of the editors and reporters will appear on a regular basis. Additionally, we are now posting and archiving all episodes of our daily video news show, The Spartan Edition, online, wherein anchorpersons, producers, editors, actors, and all other students involved in the production may appear online. These forms of electronic media are available at all times to any person with access to the Internet.

By signing this document, you are granting permission to Thomas Jefferson High School to reproduce, use, exhibit, display, broadcast, and distribute photographed and video taped images of your son or daughter as detailed above.
