THE 2021 GOLDEN GAMES
The Games will run starting 12pm on Sunday October 3rd, 2021 to 5pm on Sunday October 24th

There are 3 separate Challenges as part of the 2021 Golden Games:

REDISCOVER CAMBRIDGE
We will be posting a series of photos taken around town.  Competitors will need to identify where each photo was taken.  They will be spread out over the burrows of Cambridge, including all parts of Galt, Preston, Hespeler and Blair.  The photos will range in difficulty and point value… the more difficult, the more points available to earn.


FIND GO GOLD CAMBRIDGE
We are challenging our competitors to find letters around town to spell Go Gold Cambridge!  You may NOT use the same sign twice.  See example.  Completion of the challenge with photos submitted by the deadline will earn your team 100 points.  10 bonus points for each letter that is Gold or Yellow in colour.


SUPPORT LOCAL SCAVENGER HUNT
Links to the websites of local businesses will be posted on gogoldcambridge.ca.  We will compile a list of questions that can only be answered by scouring the website of our participating businesses.  The questions will NOT be easy!  Each correct answer will gain your team additional points.  
BONUS POINTS can be earned by spending money and supporting these amazing businesses.  10 points for every dollar spent.  Our participating businesses will have a list of all our team’s names and tally the dollar value of each of their purchases.  Want to really earn some more points?  Have friends and family shop under your team name!

EVEN MORE POINTS!
Using our sponsor sheet, have friends and family, sponsor your team for an amount of their choosing. Your team will get 1 pt. for every dollar you are sponsored! All sponsor moneys are to be collected and turned in to Go Gold Cambridge with corresponding Sponsor Sheet by, Sunday October 22nd, 8PM.

RULES, TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Each team must have ONE team captain over the age of 19 who will accept a prize if won.  ID WILL BE REQUIRED TO CLAIM A PRIZE.  

Each team can be a minimum of 2 participants to a maximum of 6 including the captain.

All games will run at the same time (from 12pm on Saturday October 3rd, 2021 to 5pm on Sunday October 22nd) giving each team as much time as possible to complete their challenges. Late submissions will NOT be accepted.  


Teams will be ranked in order of Points Accumulated.  Prizes will be awarded accordingly based on Value.  IE: 1st prize will be awarded to the team with the most points.  EVERY PARTICIPATING TEAM REGARDLESS OF NUMBER OF POINTS WILL RECEIVE A CONSOLATION PRIZE.  

1st Prize: SONY PLAYSTATION 5 Disc Edition ($750 Value)
2nd Prize: BUCKET OF BOOZE ($350 Value)
3rd Prize: $250 AMAZON GIFT CARD
Consolation Prizes: Products, Gift Baskets and Gift Cards of Varying Dollar Value.

A Donation in the amount of $40 made to Go Gold Cambridge as well as completion of the sign up form will gain your team entrance into the Golden Games.  Donations can be made via E-transfer to gogoldcambridge@gmail.com. (No Password necessary).  PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO INCLUDE YOUR TEAM NAME IN THE MESSAGE PORTION OF THE E-TRANSFER.
