WELCOME!! Facing our personal challenges is one of the biggest barriers to living with more joy and contentment and the fact that you are even reading this is a huge step.
WHY I CREATED THIS GROUP: I have been running support groups for the entirety of my career as a professional counselor and find them to be an incredibly effective way to support ourselves through the tough stuff when we no longer want or know how to do it alone. Much of my own healing and learning has come from leading and being part of groups and I'm thrilled to offer the opportunity to connect you with support as you transform yourself.
WHEN: March 19th- April 23rd
Two session times are available.
10:00-11:00 AM Eastern Time
6:30-7:30 PM Eastern Time
COST:
$25 per hourly group session or $125 for 6 weeks if paid in full.
Payable via Venmo or credit card at time of group.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
This is a closed group running for 6 consecutive weeks at a time. A closed group means that the same members will be part of the 6 week experience. No new participants will be permitted to join while it runs. This will allow for members to build trust knowing who and what to expect. It also virtual allowing you to participate from anywhere you are.
We will use somatic (body) and cognitive (mind) practices to identify and connect with the resistance or lingering fear holding you back.
We will connect with the resistance using:
- Guided Meditations
- Breathwork
- Visualizations
- Observations of Sensations in the Body
- Journaling
Individually we will:- Get to know the resistant parts of us
- Understand them more
- Practice acceptance of their presence
- Learn what we need to feel safe to move forward
Together we will:
- Discuss our experiences
- Support our resistance
- Hold compassion for our experiences
- Encourage each other as we move forward
Confidentiality is an important part of the process. For many of us, trusting others is challenging and being vulnerable can be scary. Please keep this in mind as you engage with this group.
