We are excited to launch the SW Baltimore Community Listening Campaign! We will focus on getting to know our neighbors and creating a robust community organizing group that partners with SWP, neighborhood associations, and our anchor partners. This will require a lot of community members committed to knocking on doors and having conversations. Of course, we won't be doing these in-person interviews until it is safe to do so. That means we have time to collaborate with you all to plan the survey, recruit interviewers, and apply for funding. We want to emphasize civic engagement, relationship building, and community organizing through this campaign -- in addition to gathering information that can inform our work and recruiting residents to join community efforts in SW Baltimore. The more anchor and community collaboration, the greater impact this will have. Your insight will deeply inform the questions we ask in the survey and the process of community organizing.
