2021 Senior Graduation Contract
I plan to attend Arvada West High School's Commencement at Jeffco Stadium in Lakewood, Colorado on Friday, May 21st, 2021 at 2:00 pm. I understand the need for a formal and dignified ceremony since this occasion honors my school, my family, and me.

In order to participate in the graduation ceremony, I agree to the following conditions and expectations:
1. I will have successfully completed all graduation requirements as outlined by the Jefferson County Board of Education. If I am deficient any credit, I cannot participate in the graduation ceremony. *
2. I will clear all fines and fees with the Financial Office by May 18, 2021. I understand that my cap and gown will not be issued until all financial obligations are met. *
3. I will take the Senior Survey by May 14, 2021. (Available next week) *
4. I will return my chromebook when instructed by Arvada West High School. *
5. I will wear the authorized gown, cap, and tassel over appropriate clothing. For gentlemen, dark dress pants, dress shoes and socks, dress shirt and tie. For ladies, light colored dresses, skirt/blouses, pantsuits and dress shoes. (I would not wear heels as you will be walking on uneven surfaces) *
6. I will read all upcoming graduation emails and follow all directions provided. *
7. At graduation, after throwing my cap, I will follow my staff row leader out of the stadium and meet my guests in the parking lot. *
8. I will turn in my gown prior to exiting to the parking lot. (Make sure you take all pictures beforehand as your gown is a rental and must be returned - you keep cap and tassel) *
9. I will follow all COVID restrictions. *
10. I understand that my behavior at any school endorsed activity requiring administrative discipline per the Jeffco Conduct Code may result in forfeiting my privilege of participating in the graduation ceremony. *
