YOM KIPPUR, MONDAY 28 SEPTEMBER - We are offering four services on Yom Kippur. Please select the service you wish to attend in order of preference.  Children under the age of 12 are welcome to attend with their family on Yom Kippur at 3pm only.  Youth Provision will be offered late morning Sunday 27th and will be communicated separately.  Kol Nidrei is on Zoom. Each service will contain a Yizkor element. *

8:30am ‘No-frills (12+)’. Expect fast, appropriate nusach and very limited teaching and Chazanut. The goal is to provide as close to a full service as we can, without ornamentation, in a sanctuary which will not previously have been used. It is the most suitable service for those who have particular concerns about being in-building, but nonetheless want to attend.
11:30am ‘Liturgical highlights (12+).’ Expect Chazan Stephen and Rabbi Jeremy leading an abbreviated Musaf service featuring all the great tunes and a sermon.
3pm, led by Rachel Rose Reid, will be ‘creative and contemplative and also suitable for families (10+).’ This sanctuary service will be in the style Rachel led so successfully last year. This is not a children’s service, and all attendees will be expected to remain in their seats throughout and it is not going to be suitable for all 10 year olds. But we know some of our younger members will be able to contribute and engage in this service as young-adults and we want to welcome that.
5:45 Neilah Chazan Stephen and Rabbi Jeremy
Please confirm your understanding of and willingness to comply with the Synagogue’s protocols on attendance. These include having your temperature taken, compulsory mask-wearing (unless you have a valid exemption), limited movement around the Synagogue and more. See here https://docs.google.com/document/d/17BIhHXRszvNKZW1n4dC87JselT7KkERq9J3lU_hbO8w  for our current listing of protocols, which may change between now and Rosh Hashanah. (The above web-site will always be up-to-date).   *
In order to maximise capacity, we need to allocate all seating.   We will try to allocate seats that members hold year round.  If this is not possible, we will allocate the nearest available seat.  We will also try to allocate seating for those who wish to sit in either mixed seating or women or men only seating.  Please note the middle section in the gallery is to be used for mixed seating in line with decisions made at the EGM of 4 November 2019.   Where do you wish to sit? *
