The ClimAct Initiative (TCI) presents to you, ‘The Earth Talks’, a series of monthly sessions on environment and sustainability aimed at bridging the existing knowledge gaps in our understanding of climate change. We will be covering diverse yet interconnected themes ranging from biodiversity and waste management, to energy, policy and advocacy by looking at local (grassroots movements) and international (UN negotiations) contexts.
Through these talks, we hope to drive engaging conversations by sharing impactful stories and shedding light on real-life examples of climate and environmental action. It is not only a platform for exploration of knowledge and ideas from a practical lens, but also an inclusive space that helps individuals build capacity, community and sustainable solutions to mitigate climate change.
The first talk is on the topic, "Is Sustainability Attainable?: Reimagining a Climate- Conscious World Together!". It will be facilitated by three eminent guest speakers: Mansi Shah, Pooja Domadia and Mehndi Shivdasani, the Founders of "हम Prithvi से", a social enterprise focused on helping people adopt earth-friendly lifestyle solutions. With a combined fifteen years of experience in the environmental and social enterprise space, they are well-equipped to enable people of all ages to become earth-friendly citizens.
