Artists 18 years or older residing in Tennessee or Kentucky may enter.  A separate category for Artists aged 12-17 residing in Tennessee or Kentucky will require a guardian’s permission for the minor to enter their work. All photography submitted must have been completed within the past 2 years.  All work must be original, solely created by the photographer, and not produced with the assistance/help of an instructor. Intent of this annual exhibition is to showcase the absolute best photography from regional photographers.  Photography will be juried for awards based on crowd favorite voting.

Completion of the entry form constitutes agreement by the entrant that there shall be no liability on the part of the Houston County Arts Council (HCAC), the Houston County Area Chamber of Commerce, or any members or sponsors for loss, damage, or destruction of any works.  Insurance of artwork is the sole responsibility of the participating entrant.  By entering this event, you give consent to the HCAC to use imagery of work for promotion of the exhibition and HCAC.

Artists may submit a total of 2 works.  Categories are:
Adults (Ages 18+)
Future Photographers (Ages 12-17)

All photographic work entered must be securely framed and/or back-wired, ready for hanging on our hanging system (similar to a nail).
Saw-tooth hangers will not be accepted.  Alternative hanging systems will not be accepted.
Works on glass, metal, canvas, or alternative medium may be entered and is not required to be framed, work must adhere to the wiring rules.
Works must be a minimum of 10” on the longest side up to a maximum of 20” on the longest side.

Entry into the exhibition is non-juried (all entries are accepted) based on a first come first serve basis.
All work entered and delivered to Houston County Area Chamber of Commerce will be displayed and juried for awards by crowd favorite voting.
The Award for the Crowd Favorite in the Adult Photographer Category is a $50 Gift Certificate to Southernaire Restaurant. The Award for the Crowd Favorite in the Future Photographer Category is a $25 Gift Certificate to Paul’s Pizza.

Deadline for entry online is SATURDAY, APRIL 27, 2024.

- You will be notified via email if you have been accepted in the Exhibit and an Information tag Form will be provided.
- Download and print the information tag form. Complete a form for each entry, assuring the entry numbers match the information on the entry form and tag.
- Cut out the information tag and tape to the back of the matching art work for delivery to the Houston County Area Chamber of Commerce on FRIDAY, MAY 3, 2024.

Manual entries will be accepted on FRIDAY, MAY 3, 2024 before 7pm only if room allows.

Art must be delivered to the Houston County Area Chamber of Commerce, 4, Court Square, Erin, TN 37061, FRIDAY, MAY 3, 2024 between 5 and 7 PM.
Entries will be checked to assure online entry procedure has been completed and entries meet specified requirements. Entries not meeting requirements may be disqualified from entry.

The exhibit will be hung in the Houston County Area Chamber of Commerce on SATURDAY, MAY 4, 2024 from 12-7 pm and SATURDAY, MAY 11 from 12-5 pm. Additionally, artwork images will be displayed on the HCAC website throughout the exhibition.
* HCAC reserves the right to not display images that are inflammatory, pornographic or otherwise deemed to be offensive to the public

Art sales at the Exhibit are prohibited; however, each photographer is encouraged to bring a form of advertising material for their business (business cards, trifold brochure, etc) that will be displayed on a table in the exhibit.

All entries must remain on display for the duration of the exhibit.  At the conclusion of the exhibit, work must be picked up and signed for at the Houston County Area Chamber of Commerce on SATURDAY, MAY 11th between 5pm-7pm, or MONDAY, MAY 13th between 5-6 PM.
