Thank you for considering helping with the conference! This volunteer opportunity comes with zero benefits except that you can now say you are involved at the state level. :-) And you'll also meet some pretty cool people. Not really, we're all nerds here, but we're entertaining sometimes.

I am committing to volunteer my time and services up to and through Conference 2023 and possibly Conference 2024 (optional). I understand that if I need to step away, the committee will understand and I will make sure to let the Committee chair and conference planners know if this happens. I understand this commitment means others will be relying on me and I will fulfill my committee duties to the best of my ability and I will reach out for help or clarification if needed. 

I will also abide by the following expectations:

Monthly virtual meetings Join Discord group and check daily Check e-mail at least twice a week to start, will be daily beginning March 1 Ask questions and ask for help as needed Reply to e-mail within 48 hours Reply to Discord within 24 hours Communicate any length of time you will be or need to be unavailable Everything we work on should be in the Shared Drive - no exceptions CC Conf. Director and President-Elect on all communication with vendors, authors, etc. Maintain active NCSLMA membership status

Vendor Committee Member - Help Vendor Chair with sourcing and securing vendors and payments, set up at conference, getting logos, and any other duties as required or assigned.  *
PR Committee Member - Help PR Chair with advertising, contacting businesses to sponsor certain aspects of the conference, and getting the word out about the conference. *
Technology Committee Member - Help Tech Chair with AV needs, help figure out any special tech needs for presenters, be available for troubleshooting at conference.  *
General Conference Committee Member - Fill in on smaller committees as needed, give feedback and ideas to conference planners and chairs, help with duties as assigned. *
