Lifeguard Certification
Lifeguard Training course: Fee: $275 for resident; non-resident: $300

The purpose of the American Red Cross lifeguarding course is to provide entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies; and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services personnel take over.


Participants must be 15 years or older by the end of the course.  Students must attend all classes, pass all tests, and competently perform required skills in order to receive certification at the end of the course. Payment and attendance does not guarantee certification.  All classes are mandatory. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required when registering. Please send deposit to 10 S. Waverly, Shillington PA 19607, or provide deposit to Course instructor Lisa Habecker, or Director of Aquatics Kyle Kuser. The remaining balance for the course must be paid at the first class or applicant will not be able to participate in the course.


March 21st-April 27th (Monday and Wednesday, Time 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
