For 2021 the Wintershines Fat Bike Festival will be a virtual challenge. There is no cost for the event but non Sask Cycling members must sign event waiver and agree to adhere to all Covid-19 public health directives and return to sport protocols (
https://saskcycling.ca/return-to-sport-update/).
You will be sent a Bike Plate to attach to your fat bike for the weekend. Tick off the checkboxes on your bikeplate and take pictures of your bike/ plate for each of the challenges. Post your GPS tracks if you want but not required.
There will be three ride challenges:
1) A night ride - any length any route [Ensure you are visible and have working front and rear lights if riding at night]
2) 9 Mile Ride - we are unable to host the 9 Mile Monster Bike this year so we will leave it to you to come up your own monster bike course of 9 Miles or 9 metric miles (km) if you like.
3) St Barbe Trail Ride (10 or 25km) - This is a solo version of the Snow Fondo where you experience the groomed trails of St Barbe Winter Fatbike Trail network on a:
10km Orange Route (

20km Purple Route (
