Freshmen Zoom Track and Field Workouts
These online virtual workouts are open to any Freshman at Fordham Prep, with exception of Tuesday vault sessions.  The goal of these workouts is to help foster a sense of community, promote physical wellness and provide athletes an opportunity to prepare for their fall seasons.
Tuesdays, 3pm Pole Vault Sessions:  Athletes will participate in plant and takeoff drills along with core. (Open only to those who pole vaulted this past year.)
Thursdays, 3:30pm- Primarily geared toward distance runners this workout will focus on stretching and core strength an is an opportunity to discuss your training runs with coaches.
Fridays, 3:30pm- Primarily geared to sprinters(but open to all) this session will focus on sprint mechanics, general flexibility and core strength.IMPORTANT NOTE:  Social distancing guidelines as well as any of your parents guidelines must be  followed when doing these workouts.  They can be done also indoors if necessary.

How to participate: (Note: Even if you don't know yet which day you will join the workout or if you can every week, registering here simply puts you on the list to receive the zoom link each week.  You can decide each week if you want to join)
1-  Be sure you are logged into your Prep google account as this form will automatically collect your email address.  Only those with a valid FP email address, matching your name, will be permitted to participate.
2-  Complete all the fields in this form.
3- You will receive the zoom links via email each Monday.
4- When logging into zoom you must use your real name so coaches can identify those who are participating.

You must adhere to the following behavior guidelines.  Those who do not will not permitted to join future workouts and may be referred to the Dean of Students.
1- You cannot share the zoom link with anyone.   Those interested in participating must register directly through this form.
2- Shirts must be worn during the workout.
3-  Except when you have a question, your mic should be muted.
4- Your camera should remain on and you should remain in view so that the coach can offer any needed corrections while doing the various exercises.
5- No put downs or negative comments about other participants.
