We have volunteer tour guides willing to show you around, just shoulder their meals and transport fares (if commuting around town). This is subject to availability of volunteers.

Daily transport service for sightseeing around the province is available for a minimal fee (4-seater Sedan for P1500; 6-seater Innova for 2800). Please book in advance so we can arrange them for you.

AKF appreciates your interest in volunteering. No matter how you are able to assist, you are giving our rescue dogs the love and kindness they so desperately need while they wait for their forever home. Most of the dogs in rescue have been abandoned, neglected, or even abused. Although we evaluate our dogs prior to interaction with our volunteers, we cannot guarantee the temperament or actions of the dogs, since their history is often unknown. Working with rescue dogs comes with risks. By submitting this form, you acknowledge and understand this and accept these risks.

I understand that Animal Kingdom Foundation Inc. and AKF cannot be held responsible for the actions and behaviors of the dogs in the rescue center. I agree to report any incident to the AKF staff immediately and not to take ANY action against the animals I am interacting with.

The AKF Guesthouse has some basic but convenient amenities: cable TV, wi-fi, air conditioning, hot and cold shower, kitchen, ironing and laundry facility, outdoor patio with a view, plus an honesty store with basic food, drinks, and toiletry items. Coffee/tea/drinking water are also complimentary. The apartment can accommodate up to 6 persons but can be maximized into boarding 8 pax. Only 15USD per person, per night’s stay. No meals included but you can cook or bring your own meals. Fastfood delivery is also available.

⚠ Important Reminders
NO FEES, BUT...
Visiting the AKF-RRC is always FREE. We do not want to burden our visitors with unnecessary fees, although a donation of any kind or amount during your visit will be very much appreciated.  Bring something for the dogs — treats, nibbles, medicines, leash, toys, and other needs.

DAY TOUR SCHEDULE
Our dog sanctuary is open to Voluntourists daily. Please finalize and submit your FINAL date of visit at least 3 days ahead so we can make the necessary preparations for you.

OVERNIGHT CAMPING
Camping is FREE at designated campsites within the sanctuary if you bring your own tent and other camping needs. Please advise us at least 3 days ahead so we can tidy up the campsite for you. Tents and sleeping bags are available for rent at minimal cost (soon). Please bring insect repellant, flashlight, and other camping needs.

SIGHTSEEING
Please indicate in this scheduler if you have plans of touring nearby adventure sites and landmarks so we can arrange an itinerary for you.  Answer all applicable questions regarding this.
