Hygiene and Social Distancing (as required during ISA training and subject to update)
• A risk assessment will be carried out by the SI (Senior Instructor) using the ISA Risk Assessment protocol at the start of every training session.
- To limit contact parents will not be permitted into the dinghy yard before, during or after sailing and are encouraged to drop their sailor at the gate no more than 10 minutes before arrival time. It may be necessary to operate staggered times or arrival/pick-up, pending on numbers.
• Current Social Distancing Regulations must be adhered to at all times.
• No equipment is to be shared between sailors. It is the responsibility of each sailor to ensure their equipment is in working order. Any sailors hiring boats will be given the equipment for the duration of the training and equipment cannot be shared. All parts will be labelled and sailors must ensure that they use only the relevant equipment marked and matching the boat assigned to them.
• All sailors must wash down their boat and trolley after coming ashore from sailing.
• If the forecast is not suitable for sailing, parents will be contacted and asked not to drop down their sailors on that day.
- ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A SHORT ONLINE HEALTH CHECK EACH MORNING BEFORE ARRIVAL AT THE CLUB. FAILURE TO COMPLETE THIS ONLINE WILL RESULT IN THE SAILOR NOT BEING ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN TRAINING.

Sailors and parent/guardians will be advised the following: Please do not attend the Club if you have any of the following symptoms - fever (temperature), cough, shortness of breath, breathing difficulties. If you have developed any of the following symptoms- fever (temperature), cough, shortness of breath, breathing difficulties – please advise the Senior Instructor immediately
