I understand that due to COVID 19 I MUST WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES when in the space and practice physical distancing.

I will leave if I don't feel well or if I have a fever of 100.4 or higher.

I will not do drugs or alcohol when I am in the space.

I will work on my own project while I am in the space.

I will set up the space for audience and welcome all visitors.

I will tell visitors they must wear a mask or ask them to leave if they are unwilling.

I can sell my own wares/artwork and will donate 20% of sales to the Backfence.

I understand that I am volunteering at my own risk.

I will make sure when I lock the door to shake the handle to make sure the door is locked.

I will welcome people into the space regardless of race, ethnicity, socio-economic status, gender, sexual orientation, religion, etc. All are welcome at Backfence.

I will practice creativity and share creativity with others when I am in the space.

The Backfence Society is a non-profit 501(c)(3) serving artists and fostering leadership in the arts and its connection with audiences in an equitable manner. The industrious nature of creativity leads to positive change in our community and the Backfence Society advocates lifting one another up by embracing the connection we experience through art and its different forms.The Backfence Society, Inc., established in 2011, started as an autonomous group of north county San Diego artists working collaboratively to produce interactive art events. The Backfence Society aims to provide an affordable and accessible platform for established and emerging artists. The Backfence Society established itself with intentions to foster relationships that mutually benefit the community and the artists living within. The Clubhouse is an affordable and accessible space for artists and performers.

Using the Clubhouse - Treat this space as special as it is! Handle with care. But make yourself at home!

Feel free to open the back door for crossbreeze. The wifi-router is in the hallway, enjoy the internet!

Please leave the space as you found it. (Open the curtains, turn off the lights, throw trash and recycling away, restock paper towels, etc)

Make sure that when you leave and you lock the door you shake the handle to make sure it is locked! If you do not lock the door, you will not be allowed back.
