2022 Summer Training Options- Staff and In-Person (Level 3 and above)
This year the summer training programs will be virtual and in-person.  Each cadet is allowed to pick up to 3 camps in their interested fields.  The cadet will be chosen to attend one of these camps by the RCSU Winnipeg Officers. Please pay attention to the dates of the camp and be sure that you are available for the full duration of them.  Deadline for submitting your Camp Choices is 28 March 2022 for these courses.

Starting in summer 2022:

CAP Yr 1:  5-day experience that allows cadets opportunities to build confidence and meet other cadets through participation in fun, safe, challenging, and well-organized activities in their local areas. Cadet participants are generally aged 12-13 and are about to enter their second year of training at a corps/squadron.

CAP Yr 2:  12-day experience that allows cadets opportunities to build leadership and interpersonal skills through participation in fun, safe, challenging, and well-organized activities in their local areas. Cadet participants are generally aged 13-14 and are about to enter their third year of training at a corps/squadron.

Third year or higher cadets will be offered to participate in activities ranging from 2-7-weeks located at one of 12 centralized Cadet Training Centres (CTCs).

Cadets sixteen and older may also apply for positions as staff cadets at either CAPs or CTCs.

We are making changes so more cadets can be offered a summer experience option and benefit more equitably from this new training model that includes both CAP and CTC summer training.
