Welcome back to Inspiring Changemakers & Critical Conversationalists! In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Inspired Teaching has moved all Speak Truth and ICCC seminars to a virtual format.

This topic of discussion on October 1st will be: "The Impact of Trauma on Mental Health," a relevant topic especially during the pandemic and the imposition of social distancing measures. A short description:

This seminar's discussion will be on the mental health and mental disorders of people in general, but especially frontline workers, through the lens of trauma. Informed by mental health educational resources provided by children's hospitals, as well as life experiences, the discussion will review the hidden mental health issues of frontline workers and how they cope with helping in traumatic events, as well as how trauma, substance abuse, and mental health converge in society, especially during the current pandemic.
