In this week's contest:
Use ALL the letters in a movie title – as many times as you like, but at least once – to coin a new movie title, and describe it, include a line of funny dialogue, etc., as in the examples in this week's Invitational at bit.ly/inv-week-9. (See the whole Gene Pool at GeneWeingarten.substack.com.)
How to format your entries:
Write each one of your entries as one continuous line, as in this example:
STAR WARS > SWAT WARTS, TATS: Hard up for work after the Empire is defeated, Luke Skywalker offers to use his lightsaber to remove skim growths and fix bad tattoos.
Note that there's no line break after the name of the movie or its pangram -- it's all one long line. Also notice: No quotation marks. No numbered entries.
This way, the Empress will be able to sort all the Star Wars entries together in one big anonymous group, as well as all the Gone With the Winds etc. Include as many as 25 entries in the area below where it says "Your answer." It's best to copy them in from another document so you'll have them if your computer suddenly dies or something, or if you click to submit the form and something goes wonky.
Note: Your auto-reply confirmation might be missing formatting, with everything squished into one big blob of text, but it seems that it's nothing to worry about; the entries have been coming out fine on this end.
If you don't get a confirmation within a few minutes that you've sent your entry -- you've searched your email filters (e.g., Updates or Promotions in Gmail; and good ol' Spam) and there's nothing -- don't just send it over and over! Feel free to contact the Empress at myerspat (at) gmail (dot) com and she can check if it got through. She might not get back to you immediately but promises that you won't miss the deadline.
