Entry  Requirements

Anguilla Community College entry requirement for students.
  • Entry is based on high school transcripts for Form 4 and Semester 1 of Form 5.
  • Applicants must have an average of 60 percent for the prerequisite course(s) for their CAPE courses of choice.
  • Students desirous of pursing CAPE Associate Degree must possess:
           1.  English A and Mathematics at GENERAL PROFICIENCY WITH GRADES i - III
           2. A minimum of five (5) CSEC (or equivalent) subjects
           3. In the area of study, applicants MUST possess Grades I or II in the prerequisites

General entry requirement

Basic entry requirements are four (4) CSEC subjects including English and Mathematics.  Speciaised programmes will have additional prerequisites requirements.  Applicants without Mathematics and /or English will be required to take the pre-college Mathematics and English Course offered by ACC. 

Important Information

Applicants should be submitted on or before Friday 31st May 2024.  Applicants may apply for one of the following programmes
  1. Associate Degree at CAPE
  2. CAPE single units (Compulsory - Communication Studies, Integrated Mathematics, and Caribbean Studies) 
  3. Associate Degree in Business
  4. Certificate in Technical Studies
  5. Associate Degree in Media Technology and Design
  6. CTLS Associate Degree in Applied Science 
  7. Nursing Assistant Certificate
  8. Associate Degree in Primary Education
  9. Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education.

2. ACC Associate Degree in Business  
3. Certificate in Technical Studies 
4. Associate Degree in Media Technology and Design
5. CTLS Associate Degree in Applied Science
6. Nursing Assistant Certificate  Or
7 Associate Degree in Teacher Education
CAPE Associate Degrees *
Student who are interested in the CAPE Associate Degree should select from the programme below.  Please review the Sixth Form Catalogue before making your choice.  Sixth Form Catalogue  To qualify for the CAPE Associate Degree you will be required to complete TEN (10) CAPE Units. Students who do not complete the ten units will receive unit certificates from Caribbean Examination Council (CXC).
CAPE Single Courses *
Students can opt to select CAPE courses that are not a part of the CAPE Associate Degree. If you selected one of the CAPE Associate Degree above you do not need to complete this section. Students interested in selecting single units must select three (3) from the list below. ALL CAPE students are required to to Communication Studies, Integrated Mathematics and Caribbean Studies. Kindly check the prerequisite for he course before selecting (page 5 Sixth Form Catalogue)
