Mission of the Community Cycling Center 
We love Portland and bikes, so we put our two passions together 30 years ago, creating an organization on a mission to broaden access to bicycling and its benefits. Our vision is to help create a vibrant community where people of all backgrounds use bicycles to stay happy, healthy, and connected. We believe that all Portlanders--regardless of income or background should have the opportunity to experience the joy, liberation, and health benefits of cycling. 
Which aspects of broadening access to bicycling and its benefits inspires you to want to serve on the Board of Directors? *
Which skills do you envision bringing to the Board (e.g., your area of expertise)? *
Board members are asked to volunteer for approximately 6 hours per month. This includes one Board meeting, one committee meeting, and time spent independently staying informed of Board activities, working on specific projects, and acting as an ambassador for the CCC in the community. Are you willing to meet this expectation?  *
Are you willing to serve on the Board of Directors for an initial two-year term? (Board members may be re-elected up to two additional 2-year terms, for a maximum of 6 years. *

Are you willing to actively raise funds for the CCC (e.g., meetings or phone calls with donors, organizing events, and connecting with donors over email)? The organization will provide a range of activities to choose from as well as training and support to help you fulfill your goals. *
Will you make an annual monetary contribution to the Community Cycling Center at an amount that is personally meaningful?

If financially supporting the CCC is inaccessible, are you willing to work closely with Development staff to raise a meaningful amount of funds through individual donors and personal connections? *
