Permission Slip and Important information

Your child has expressed interest in trying out for the Centennial High School Sparklers Drill Team. We are honored that s/he has shown interest and hope that it is a wonderful experience for her/him. Please take the following information into consideration when making the decision to try out for Sparklers.

Other membership requirements
• Sparklers is a yearlong commitment. Our obligation continues far past football season.
• Sparklers is expensive estimated YEARLY cost is $1500.00 for new members. $1300.00 will be due between April and
August. A payment plan will be outlined at the informational meeting.
• Must be physically fit.
• Failure to maintain passing grades will lead to dismissal from the team.
• Sparklers must be respectful and follow school rules and the rules in the constitution.

What else is needed?

You must provide a report card and all other paperwork by the FIRST day of auditions (March 29th at 4:30). Additional paperwork is available on the Google Classroom. Paperwork can be submitted at the informational meeting and is due no later than the First day of tryouts. Failure to bring paperwork will result in dismissal from the tryout clinic.

Important dates are listed below.

Mandatory ZOOM Informational Meeting will take place March 1, 2021 at 6:30PM.

Sparkler Tryout workshops are March 29 - April 1st from 4:30-6:30PM in the CHS practice gym. Actual Tryouts are THURSDAY, April 1st. Make sure you join the tryout Google Classroom; there will be videos of the fight song and Kick Sequence.

New team meeting and $350.00 deposit and $25.00 BC membership dues are due on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 6:30 in Seminar C.
