2023 Winter Percussion Season

The Athens Drive Marching Band is primarily funded by fair share assessments and Band fundraisers. We make the program accessible to students regardless of their financial situation by offering multiple ways of raising funds.

All applications are kept strictly confidential. While the Band Boosters help fund the financial aid, ADMHS parents are not part of this process. There are a total of 5 scholarships budgeted. They will be awarded by our scholarship committee (Booster Co-Presidents, Co-Treasures and Band Director) using their best judgment based on information available.

Below are the major factors considered before awarding financial assistance/scholarships.
- Student’s eligibility for free lunch program through Wake County Public Schools
- Parent/Guardian’s loss of job
- Multiple siblings participating in program
- Single parent home / Parent contribution limited
- Family effort to raise a portion of the assessment through advertised fundraising programs
