The Waushara Area Chamber of Commerce annually selects a Citizen of the Year.  This award will be presented at the Fall Banquet on October 24, 2024.  The selection process is always extremely difficult, so please include as much information about the nominee as possible.

Guidelines for this nomination shall include the following:

• Nominees should embody an overall love of the Waushara County community over many years, including the most recent.
• Nominees should live in Waushara County and his/her activities should be centered here.
• Recognition will be given for leadership and performance for work done above and beyond his/her paid profession.
• The individual recognized does not need to be a member of the Waushara County Chamber of Commerce.
• There are no requirements or restrictions relating to gender, race, religion, or ethnic background.
• The nominee should have participated in a broad scope of activities over the course of more than one year. This award should not be for a single activity, no matter how well it was executed.
• The award will not be given posthumously.
