Volunteer Application Form
Thank you for enquiring about volunteering at Ty Nant Cat Sanctuary.
There are several roles needed at the sanctuary, but mostly cleaning, feeding, medicating and socialising.

Please complete this form and we will contact you to arrange an induction, this will be held at the sanctuary as an on the job type induction.
ALL CORRESPONDANCE is undertaken online, please don not call about inductions as the person answering will not be able to help with this.

Please note - All volunteers will be subject to the same adoption criteria and process as non volunteers.

I'm afraid volunteering does not mean you are automatically eligible to adopt, or able to choose a cat or kitten before anyone else.

Volunteering at the sanctuary will involve working with disinfectants and mild chemicals, it could also involve moving buckets, cleaning litter trays, bending and lifting.  On some occasions you will be on your own or alternatively in a large group.  If there is anything we need to know that could have an adverse affect on your health as a result of volunteering, please let us know below.
Please note all volunteers must wear gloves and aprons (Provided) at all times.
Do you have any of the following?  This may not hinder the opportunity, we would just need to make adjustments to make your volunteering accessible. However we must inform you, that we are a small sanctuary run entirely on volunteers and I'm afraid we are not trained to work with supporting people with additional needs, if you have additional needs then you will need to be accompanied by your support worker with you to assist so that we don't unknowingly put you or our other volunteers in a difficult situation.   *
