French I Carnegie Application
Dear Parents and Rising 8th Grade Students:

For the 2020-2021 school year, you will have the opportunity to earn high school credit with Carnegie Unit classes in World Languages. Upon successful completion of the two-year-long class, students may opt to receive Carnegie Unit credit for high school.

Students interested in French should complete this form as soon as possible. Completing an application for a class does NOT guarantee acceptance.

If you are already enrolled in a yearlong program such as Band, Orchestra, or Chorus, you may still apply for another yearlong class, but please note that if you are accepted into the French program, there will be no additional room in your schedule for other connections. If you are not already enrolled in another yearlong program, you do not have the option to choose any other connections classes, such as Art or PE. These classes will be assigned at a later date.

Please contact Mrs. Merriam at Jessica.L.Merriam@gcpsk12.org with any questions.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Merriam
