Project VIABLE Application 2021
Project VIABLE is funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs (Grant#: H325K190055). The grant funds a scholarship program for professionals interested in earning a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Differentiated Instruction-Visual Impairments Concentration OR a Master of Science (M.S.) in Applied Behavior Analysis. Scholars selected will complete coursework in their primary area (VI or ABA) as well as inter-disciplinary coursework in the "other" area.

Scholarship Benefits
All scholars will be provided the following:

1. All tuition and fees for the M.Ed. in VI or M.S. in ABA.
2. Travel and registration to attend applicable state conferences in ABA or VI.
3. Unique professional development opportunities through webinars in ABA and VI led by leaders within the respective fields.
4. Inter-disciplinary instruction in working with individuals with diverse and significant disabilities, including sensory disabilities.
Scholar Responsibilities
All scholars will be required to do the following:

1. Complete all coursework in their primary graduate program (M.Ed. or M.S.) along with selected inter-disciplinary coursework.
2. Attend all professional development activities (conferences and webinars).
3. Complete all data collection requirements (surveys) as per the U.S. Department of Education and grant requirements.
4. Upon completion of the program, provide direct service for students with significant disabilities.
Project VIABLE Application Requirements
1. Candidates must have earned a bachelor's or higher degree from a regionally accredited institution.
2. A minimum grade-point average of 3.0 on the undergraduate record (please submit an UNOFFICIAL copy of all transcripts), and

3. TOEFL or IELTS (for non-native English speakers only):
    TOEFL (iBT): all sub-scores greater than or equal to 18 OR
    IELTS: all sub-scores greater than or equal to 6.0

ALL TRANSCRIPTS AND TEST SCORES (GRE, MAT, or TOEFL) SHOULD BE INCLUDED WITH YOUR GRADUATE APPLICATION.

4. Three letters of recommendation (attach to this application)
5. An essay  (See instructions below, attach to this application).
