Climate + Faith

Is our changing climate on your mind these days? Have you been wanting to connect with others to talk about it? Are you saying enough with the doom and gloom, it’s time for a “love and act” approach?

If any of the answers are yes, or you simply want to do something with beauty, meaning and purpose for Lent, please join the Bishop’s Commission on Climate Change Education Subcommittee for a very special 6-week Lenten Book Group as we read, reflect, pray and practice the SALT Project offering, Climate + Faith.

Designed as a devotional, we’ll make our way through this short 40-page booklet that includes weekly reflections, some suggested activities/spiritual practices and links to videos and other resources.

Rev. Josh Paget, from St. Cross Episcopal Church in Hermosa Beach will lead our Lenten Book Group, assisted by Education Subcommittee Co-Chairs Kate Varley Alonso and Paula Walker.

Our Lenten Book Group will be held on Zoom and start on Thursdays February 22nd at 11am. We’ll also gather Feb 29th, March 7th, March 14th, March 21st and March 28th.

Please RSVP by signing up below.
