Application for Student Environmental Council President
This is the application for Student Environmental Council (SEC) President. The SEC Executive Board consists of SEC President, SSB/SEC Treasurer, Vice President of Internal Operations, and the President of the Student Sustainability Board.

The SEC President roles include:
- Works to organizes, connect, and foster collaboration between the environmental student groups on campus.
- Plans and executes SEC sponsored and co-sponsored events (Including Trending Topics, Earth Week, etc.).
- Acts as point-person to Washington University students and faculty on student environmental affairs.
- Decides upon a university-wide environmental initiative at the beginning of term and organizes students and staff to achieve this goal.
- Directly supervises the Student Sustainability Board, ensuring it is following its mission.
- Directly advises and collaborates with the Student Union President on matters relating to the sustainable operations of Student Union and of the University at large.
- Plans and convenes Executive Board Meetings (SEC President, SEC VP of Internal Operations, SEC Treasurer, and SSB President).
- Works to track progress and encourage the accountability of Green Group Leaders.
- Meets weekly or bi-weekly with Office of Sustainability to provide updates on student affairs, receive updates on Office affairs, and to collaborate on projects and events.
- Attends all Student Environmental Council meetings and takes meeting minutes.
- Attends Student Union Leadership meetings. If they cannot attend, they are responsible for getting another Executive Board member to go in their place. Provides SEC updates at SU Leadership.

Applications close Wednesday, April 15th at 11:59 pm. We will conduct interviews the following week. Decisions will be out by Friday, April 24th.
