Taiko Community Grimsby

Venue - Ormiston Maritime Academy, Westward Ho, Grimsby

Occasionally there will be photos and/or videos taken for group promotion, please make us aware if you would rather not be photographed/filmed.

Thank you for signing up to our Taiko workshop! 90 minute Taiko drumming sessions at Ormiston Maritime Academy, Westward Ho, Grimsby, 7.30-9pm.

Please meet at the main entrance just before 7.30pm on your first session and we will take you over to our rehearsal space!

Taiko is Japanese style ensemble drumming which feature exciting rhythms, choreography and shouts. This session is part of the 'Taiko Community' programme from Humber Taiko. Due to the physical aspect of Taiko, please wear comfortable clothing and it is normally advised to bring a bottle of water! (Participants with restricted movement are still welcome to join and we encourage everyone to work at their own pace and listen to their body, we aim to be as accessible as possible and adaptations can often be made where necessary)

This course is delivered through Humber Taiko (managed by Coritani Creative Ltd) in partnership with the NEL Music Hub.
