Tuesday, June 27th, at 6:00 p.m.
- Princess contestants are encouraged to attend the Queen contest on Tuesday, June 27th, at Corydon Central High School in the auditorium.
- The red carpet will roll out at 5:00 p.m.
- The contest/pageant is open to the public and will begin at 6:00 p.m.
- Invite everyone you know! There is no charge for the public to enter. Donations will be accepted for the Queen Scholarship. Plus, there is a People's Choice winner. Each queen contestant will jazz up a bucket with a lid, shoebox, etc., for the public to put cash and change in. The queen contestant with the most $$$ will win People's Choice. This should be fun!
:::CROWNING:::
The crowning of the 2023 Harrison County Popcorn Festival Princess will be Saturday, July 1st, at 1:00 p.m. at the Hurley D. Conrad Memorial Bandstand on the Square in downtown Corydon.
- Contestants can check in between 11:30 a.m. and noon.
- In order to compete, contestants must be present no later than noon.
- The 2023 Harrison County Popcorn Festival Princess will be named at approximately 1:00 p.m.
The following will be crowned and rewarded. Rewards include crowns, sashes, trophies, bouquets, and a number of other phenomenal prizes:
- Princess
- 1st Runner-up
- 2nd Runner-up
- Miss Congeniality
All contestants are encouraged to but all winners must assist with the Little Kernel and Little Kernelette contests held on Saturday, July 1st at the Hurley D. Conrad Memorial Bandstand on the Square in downtown Corydon. In addition, all winners must be in the parade at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 1st. Winners will be supplied with additional information, time requirements, and a convertible for the parade route.
:::FESTIVAL:::
All winners must be in attendance at the festival for the remainder of Saturday, July 1st.
- Winners will be available for photos with the general public. The youth, especially little girls, look up to festival royalty!
- Winners will be present at various activities and events taking place Friday and Saturday. i.e. Kid Zone, car show, and cornhole tournament.
- Winners will assist in handing out awards with the Queen contest winners throughout the remainder of the festival.
:::PARADE:::
All winners will be in the annual Harrison County Popcorn Festival parade - Queen contest, Princess contest, and Littles contests.

The parade begins at 7:00 p.m. Additional information for check-in and the parade route will be provided to the winners upon crowning.
- Winners must ride in a convertible car. No Jeeps, SUVs, or trucks. A convertible car will be provided unless you have your own. :::REIGNING YEAR:::
The Queen and her court are encouraged to take part in future community events as representation of the Harrison County Popcorn Festival. The Pageant Committee will provide more information as it becomes available.
:::PASSING THE TORCH:::
The Princess agrees to return in 2024 to crown the winners.
