-2 mixing areas and a metal loop for your thumb when out in the field. (3rd mixing area if you lift out the paint tray)
--12 half-pans with Artist grade Daniel Smith Extra-fine watercolors--in a custom palette that I find most useful.
--I've attached extra strong magnets to the pans so less likely to fall out.
--5-extra half-pans included for additional colors to personalize your palette
 so (you can add your own additional colors)
--color swatch chart included (yes, I've painted one for you-- but you can also paint your own)

This kit is more economical than buying all these specific colors in tubes on your own. Due to high quality pigments, you don't need much for your journal and will last you for a long time.

Colors that I find most used for my nature journaling: You will get these Paint colors : Quinacridone Pink, Permanent Orange, Hansa Yellow Light, Serpentine Green, Hookers Green, Perlyne green, Cobalt Blue, Phthalo Blue (green shade), Indanthrone Blue, Shadow Violet, Raw Umber, and Burnt Sienna Light.
