Humanity in Music Education Conference Presenter Call for Proposals
This conference addresses the topic of Humanity in Music Education: From Trauma to Trust to be held August 6-7, 2021 in Chicago at VanderCook College of Music. The conference will feature speakers on topics including Social Emotional Learning, mindfulness, students with diverse needs, diversity, equity and inclusion, student leadership, student-centered learning, trauma-informed instruction, compassionate teaching, and growth mindset. Based on ground-breaking research and the results of implementation of these topics with students of all levels and abilities, this annual conference seeks to be a home for the future direction of music education. We invite you to apply to present at this inaugural event! As of now, all presenters and presentations will be in person. The conference will be available in both in person and online connected formats.
