Volunteer Application
Please fill out the application below (it's electronic) and then follow the instructions once the application is submitted. You can also visit us at the Adoption Center to see how you can help. The adoption center is located at 1750 S. Rainbow Blvd # 4, Las Vegas NV 89146. We look forward to meeting you!

We welcome student volunteers from the ages of 8-14 years in the company of a parent or other responsible adult. With a parent's permission, high school students ages 15-17 years may volunteer independently. We are in the process of incorporating additional activities for our younger volunteers including reading to our animals (they love it!).

Please keep in mind that we are an animal rescue and some of our cats and dogs come to us very scared. For this reason, we ask that you check with other staff/volunteers before opening kennels for the safety of yourself and our animals.

1. Waiver of Liability for Services Performed On Site
I hereby release and forever discharge, HAAVLV and its volunteers, directors, officers, administrators, agents, and assigns (hereinafter collectively and severally referred to as “HAVLV”) from all liability for any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action or suits of any kind whatsoever, and particularly on account of any injuries, to person or property sustained while performing services, voluntary or otherwise.
2. Waiver of Liability for Services Performed Off Site
I hereby release and forever discharge HAVLV from all liability for any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action or suits of any kind whatsoever, and particularly on account of any injuries, to person or property sustained while performing services, voluntary or otherwise, on behalf of, or in conjunction with, HAVLV which occurs as a result of participation in any event or activity sponsored or endorsed by HAVLV, including, but not limited to, any event or activity promoted in connection with HAVLV and travels to/from any such event.
3. Responsibility for Personal Pets and Agreement to Indemnify
I agree that any injury, damage, or loss, of any kind whatsoever, to any person, animal, or property at any HAVLV event, caused by my own pet, or a pet which is otherwise in my possession, is solely my responsibility and I will indemnify, save and hold harmless HAVLV from any damages, costs, losses and expenses including, but not limited to bodily injury, property damage, including but not limited to legal fees, courts costs, and litigation expenses.
