Thank you for your interest in joining our community.
The Young Israel of Passaic-Clifton Kol Yaakov celebrates, teaches, and lives the values of
Torah, Tefillah, Chessed, and commitment to Israel. We view the Shul experience as
significant beyond simply a place to daven and learn Torah. Our goal is to create a Kehilla of growth oriented families, who are constantly striving for greater goals in their family and
personal Avodas HaShem. We work together in creating an inspiring environment for every
member of the family to reach their personal and spiritual potential.
Our Shul prides itself in being warm and inclusive, a place where everyone -- men, women,
and children feel at home. Some of the special programming that we offer includes:
- Shiurim and learning opportunities throughout the year focusing on a diversity of
topics, such as the 13 Foundations of Faith, our TeshuvaTalks series during Elul, communal learning, weekly Parsha and Gemara Shiurim, Chabura Mussar, our Shavuos learning
programming, and a variety of guest speakers and scholars-in-residence.
- Special events throughout the year including Oneg's for women with Rebetzin Glasser,
a Chanukah party, Yom Ha’Atzmaut celebration, Yom Hashoah commemoration,
Chesed opportunities (such as serving food at a soup kitchen) and more.
- Youth groups on Shabbos morning, a monthly Teen Boys Minyan, Shabbos meals
at the Rabbi & Rebetzin, and more.
- A weekly Kiddush provides a tremendous opportunity for members of the YIPC family
to catch up with friends, stay current on various life events, meet new people, and
create meaningful connections with people whom they would ordinarily not have a
chance to see during the week.
Joining our Shul as a member will not only support our vibrant Minyanim, Shiurim, and
programming, but also connect you to our YIPC family in new ways, which will only enrich
all of our lives.
We have kept our membership dues relatively low, and are committed to working with
potential members to create a financial structure that works for their unique situation.
If you have questions about membership, please contact president@yipc.org. In order to become a part of our unique and warm community, led by our Moreh D'Asra,
