Plug in the television and wait a few moments and observe the LED indicator light.  DO NOT POWER THE TV ON, ONLY PLUG IT IN. THE UPDATE SHOULD BEGIN AUTOMATICALLY. At this time, if the pairing process is going to be successful, the indicator light on the television should be pulsing a slow white light then eventually your television should restart on its own. If you get the green/amber light, unplug the television, remove the flashdrive, plug the flashdrive into the computer and delete any excess files the TV added. Try the update again, if after you have attempted this step 3 times and you are still getting the GREEN/AMBER flashing light, email info@tvpartstoday.com with the subject line “SONY HELP” and we will assist you. *
